Week 6 Learning Journal

 This week I had a really exciting discussion with my teammates about our capstone ideas. We all shared what we wanted to work on and gave each other feedback. I also talked with my teammate David, who wants to create something related to mods or games for his capstone project. I suggested that he try connecting his idea with artificial intelligence. For example, he could add features that analyze or adapt to player behavior, emotions, or playing style. We even talked about self learning mods that could change and improve over time. It was a fun and inspiring talk that gave me new motivation for my own project.

This week has been one of the most valuable weeks for me so far. I learned so many things that will really help in my future career. From the career guide I learned how to prepare for interviews, how to create a strong resume, and how to write a good cover letter. These lessons helped me understand how to present myself better and make a good impression on employers.

Our team also started working on our final presentation project. Everyone shared ideas and we began planning our tasks together. It feels good to see how our teamwork is improving every week. Overall this week taught me a lot about both professional development and collaboration, and I feel much more confident about the next steps in our capstone journey.

Week 2 Learning Journal (09/08/2025 - 09/13/2025)

     This is the second week of my learning journal, and it has been another meaningful step in my journey.      The first thing I explored was how to study more effectively. I learned about different study skills and realized that I am already strong in scheduling, time management, and critical thinking. This probably comes from my experience taking many online courses during college, which helped me develop discipline and a routine for managing my time wisely.      At the same time, I also noticed some of my weaknesses. For example, I struggle with choosing the right place to study. I cannot focus everywhere and usually need a private, quiet, and isolated space to concentrate. Another bad habit of mine is reading aloud while studying, which sometimes slows me down, and skipping note-taking during lectures, which makes it harder to review later. Week 3 Learning Journal (09/15/2025 - 09/21/2025)

      This week was very busy, with many assignments for both CST 300 and CST 349. Even though the workload was heavy, I was able to learn some new and interesting things that made the week worthwhile. One of the main topics I explored was ethics in my future career . I learned how important it is to think critically about ethical issues and how to use ethical frameworks when making arguments about ethics. This made me reflect more seriously about the responsibilities that come with working in computer science, especially in areas like artificial intelligence.      I also feel a little more confident about my future career path.
